The Canistota Hawks Booster Club still has several open concession stand shifts. Open spots are highlighted in red on the schedule.
Any parent of a student in grades K–12, grandparent, family member, or community supporter is welcome to volunteer! Filling these shifts helps ensure the concession stand runs smoothly during our home events.

The Jr. High Football game that was postponed from today is now scheduled for Monday, September 14th at 4pm in Chester, SD. Join us in Chester to cheer on the Hawks!
The Canistota 7th grade students in AFNR class had a treat today. Students got to make an edible FFA emblem using cookies and other tasty treats.

Hawks Football on Friday: Please note changes due to heat!! Friday, September 4th, our football games in Chester have some changes! Come cheer on the Varsity Hawks football team as they take on the Chester Flyers, in Chester! The varsity game will now be at 7pm (previously 6pm!) due to the heat index throughout the day! The Middle School game will be postponed and a make-up date is in the works. We will update you with further details once they have been solidified!!

Military Appreciation Night
There will be an informational robotics meeting for parents and students (grades 6-12) on Thursday, September 3rd, at 6:30 PM, in the middle school science room (Mrs. Pierson's room). We will have forms and information to hand out to parents and students, including the challenge for this year and important dates (Kickoff is September 19th in Brookings!).
