Snow on Monday… sunshine on Friday… you know it must be spring in South Dakota! ❄️☀️

Our elementary students made the most of both worlds this week—bundled up and playing in the snow to start, then soaking up the warm sunshine at recess to end it. From snow boots to t-shirts, their smiles never changed!

We love seeing our students enjoy every season—sometimes all in one week! 😄

Our Kindergarten students have been diving into history while learning about Colonial trades! Today, they brought their learning to life by exploring the full process of milling wheat—from start to finish—and discovering how it was used to make bread.

This hands-on experience helped students better understand the hard work and skills involved in everyday life during Colonial times. What a fun and meaningful way to learn!

A special thank you to Mrs. Schroeder for organizing such an engaging and memorable activity for our students. 👏
