Elementary School Students and Families~
We are super excited to see everyone for our first day of the 2026-2027 school year. We are making a few small changes to our drop off routines and want to make you aware of these changes. When PK-5 students come to school, they will all be directed to the back playground, even from the bus! We will provide supervision from 8-8:15am on the playground by a staff member, so students can play. If your student needs to eat breakfast, they can come into the building and head straight to the breakfast room. Breakfast is served from 8-8:15am daily. We want to avoid students entering the elementary wing hallway until 8:15am so that teachers have their time to prepare for the learning day. On days that we need to be inside due to weather, we will continue to use this playground door to enter the building and then direct students from there to the indoor gym options.
For the first day of school, we will allow parents to come onto the playground and into the school for first day pictures at the 8:15 time. We understand that saying good-bye with your little ones can be difficult, but rest assured they are in good hands! We will take good care of them! And remember that we have a 1pm dismissal on the first day of school.
Dismissing at the end of the day will be similar to the way it has been in the past. Students may exit out any door, given their perspective plans and arrangements made with you ahead of time.
After the first day of school, all parents will need to go through the office to gain access to the building. This is for the safety of our students and staff. Thank you for your understanding in this. Please reach out if you have any questions regarding these changes. Here's to a great start to the 2026-2027 school year! Go HAWKS!!
