7-12 Grade Parents and Students,
We are holding the 24-25 Activities Kickoff on July 31, 2024, at 6:30 PM in The Barn.
This kick-off will be an informative session covering the 24-25 Activities Handbook, Canistota Booster Club, and grade-level fall activities coaches meeting.
The Canistota School District is accepting applications for a special education paraprofessional. If you are interested in the position, please fill out the Canistota School District Application located on the Employment Page.

At the July 8, 2024 school board meeting, the school board decided to open the doors to ALL fans for sporting events. This means that all fans will be allowed into games free of charge! Please come out and support our student athletes! GO HAWKS!
We are in the process of finalizing the bus routes for the upcoming school year. If you are in need of bus transportation, please call the school to make sure you are put on the route. If you were utilizing bus services last year, but will not need them this year, please notify the school of that as well.

The Canistota School District is looking for a long term first grade substitute teacher or special education paraprofessional from August 12, 2024 through October 22, 2024. If you are interested or have any additional questions, please reach out to Jamie Miller at 605-296-3458.
This year we will be using the Sway platform for objective balance and cognitive testing. This will be replacing the former Impact testing. Our trainer from the Orthopedic Institute will be here on June 5th at 9:00 AM to conduct these tests. There will be another opportunity later, yet to be determined, for those who can’t make this date.
I've attached three PDFs that have information about the Sway program. 7th-12th grade athletes for the 2024-2025 MUST complete this before practicing for their sport. If a student doesn’t have a device to take the test on, they can use a friend’s device when they are done.
