The double header with Gayville-Volin has been re-scheduled for Thursday, February 9th. Same format starting at 5:00 with both JV games and then Varsity girls followed by Varsity boys. At CANISTOTA

The boys and girls basketball games scheduled for tomorrow (January 3, 2023) have been postponed. The boys game with Elk Point Jefferson will be played on Tuesday, January 10th. I am still working on a date for the girls game.

The Double Header in boys and girls basketball vs. Gayville-Volin will be made up on Thursday, January 5, 2023. Format will be the same as previously scheduled. Boys and girls junior varsity games starting at 5:00 p.m.
The double-header with Gayville-Volin scheduled for tomorrow (December, 22, 2022) has been postponed. We will let you know when a re-schedule has been completed.

The Elementary and MS/HS concerts will be streamed on the Canistota Facebook page this evening starting at 6:00 PM. After the event has ended, the video will be taken down from the page.
To err on the side of caution and in hopes of keeping everyone safe as it begins to freeze-rain this evening, we are postponing the elementary music concert. We will have both concerts next Monday night, with our elementary concert starting at 6:00 p.m. and our 6-12 concert starting at 7:15 p.m.
There will be no athletic practices after school and the weight room will be closed. Thank you for understanding.
The girls basketball game scheduled for Tuesday, December 13 at Colman-Egan has been postponed. The new date and time will be announced as soon as it has been rescheduled.
The Canistota School District is looking for a full time cook. Daily work hours are 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. (hours may vary based on need).
General Duties include:
1. Assisting Food Service Director in preparation of food and meals based on directives from Food Service Director;
2. Arranging food and beverage items for the purpose of making items available to students and staff;
3. Cleaning utensils, equipment, and food preparation/serving areas for the purpose of maintaining sanitary conditions;
4. Serving one or more items of food for the purpose of meeting mandated nutritional requirements and/or requests of students and staff
The position is open until filled.
